I find love languages fascinating. If you’ve never read the book The Five Love Languages, there is also a free online assessment where you can find out what your love language is! You can apply aspects of love languages to any kind of relationship- even in business. I believe it is really important to learn about and understand yourself before trying to understand others.  

If you know me at all, you could probably guess what my love language is… GIFTS! Here is the actual definition of the Gifts Love Language: “Don’t mistake this love language for materialism; the receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you. A missed birthday, anniversary, or a hasty, thoughtless gift would be disastrous – so would the absence of everyday gestures. Gifts are visual representations of love and are treasured greatly.” Anyone else resonate with this definition?!

If I’ve ever given you something (friend or client), my greatest fear is that you will think I have a motive, when really it is just how I show I care. Finding the perfect gift for someone brings me so much joy!
