Earlier this month I had the opportunity to visit Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, which is also the home to Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. While I was there I got to witness a wedding send off. And this was not a typical send off…they had a white horse and carriage! After they made their way out, I was able to walk around and peek into the ceremony location. I’m not sure why, but I always pictured the Disney wedding venue to be very…Disney themed. It was honestly the most beautiful room I have ever walked into (see pictures at the bottom). The powder blue and white chapel was complete with a large crystal chandelier and stained glass windows. The window up front was perfectly lined up for a view of Cinderella’s castle. It was such a gorgeous, classy venue, that would be perfect for anyone’s wedding. No Mickey ears on the walls like I had in my mind! (Tell me I’m not the only one who envisioned that?)! It is on the property of The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which is absolutely stunning itself. This 5 star resort is very large with several separate buildings. It is definitely worth a trip to see if you are in the area! I have officially added a Disney wedding to my photographer bucket list 🙂
