Jordan and John’s Lake Weir engagement session brought one of the most beautiful lake sunsets I have seen. We had their session scheduled and the day of was super cloudy. Jordan (and I) really wanted a pretty sunset so we rescheduled and are so glad we did! My favorite part about their session was that they brought their new chocolate brown lab puppy, Miller, along! He was full of energy and LOVED playing in the water with them! I haven’t heard if he’s attending the wedding but I’m crossing my fingers that he does!

John is an avid boater and so we had to include his boat in the photos, which was my first time shooting on a boat! I hope I get to do it again in the near future especially with this kind of sunset. I love that their session showed who they are as a couple as they love going to the lake, boating, and playing with their pup. It’s always a goal of mine to make each couple’s engagement photos truly reflect them. I loved my time with them and can’t wait for their Spring wedding to be here! Congratulations John & Jordan <3
