Alicia and Josh’s mossy oak canopy tree Ocala sunset wedding was just as beautiful as it sounds… Imagine the most picturesque outdoor area… 70 degrees and sunny… that’s what their day was like! Alicia and Josh are one of the most family-oriented couples I know. Their wedding ceremony and reception were on their family’s land, which was just such a breathtaking area in Summerfield just south of Ocala, Florida. Both of their families were already so close, so it was really special to see them officially become one big family. One of their bride and groom portraits was even taken on the steps of their new house Josh has been building on the family’s land- such a special portrait (see below)!

Josh long with several of his groomsmen served our country in the Air Force, and they all wore their military suits for the wedding. The girls wore long blush bridesmaid dresses and had classic white and green bouquets. Alicia wore a Hayley Paige ballgown dress which was just MADE for her! And if you know Alicia, you know that she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She was radiant on her wedding day and I loved the sweet way she and Josh looked at each other throughout the day.Josh and Alicia are also big Justin Timberlake fans (like myself!) and had “Morning Light” as their first dance song, so of course I was quietly singing along behind my camera.  My favorite part of the day might have been the many heartfelt toasts the groomsmen each did. You could tell Josh and Alicia truly had amazing friends by their side, and I loved hearing their stories in the toasts. The whole day was filled with so much beauty, joy, and family, and I felt very blessed to be a part of it. Congratulations Alicia and Josh!
