Kristen + Bear (love his nickname!) were the winners of my Engagement Session Giveaway at the Downtown Ocala Wedding Expo last month!  I was so excited that this couple had won.  I really enjoyed the few moments they stopped by my table, and the fact that both of them attended the event.  When I book weddings, I love it when both the bride and the groom are involved, so that they both feel that I am investing in them and their journey.  Afterall, it’s not just the bride’s day!

Since they had never been to Sholom Park in Ocala, FL, I highly suggested it for their session location.  We couldn’t have asked for a prettier Spring day in Florida.  If you have not visited Sholom, you need to!  It is a beautiful, peaceful haven right off of I-75.  

Besides the perfect scenery, this couple was so sweet together.  You can tell in these photos not only how much fun they have together, but also how much they adore one other.  One of those couples I walked away feeling lucky to photograph.  Congratulations, Kristen + Bear! <3
